For the animals

I don't eat animals because they are conscious. I believe humans should care for all beings.

Why I'm vegan

When I was eight, our family dog was my whole world. Any story about people harming or eating dogs made me so upset, and around the same time I learned that pigs are even more intelligent than dogs. I realized there was no way I could have compassion for one and subject the other to some of the worst conscious experiences on earth.

I became vegetarian, and after four years and learning about the intense suffering caused by the dairy and egg industries, I went vegan.

The ephemeral taste you experience from eating the body of a conscious being is not worth the unimaginable suffering they endure.
