How it works

What this project is testing.

Electricity usually hides in wires, but this project pulls it into view: coils grab metal, transformers trade current for voltage, sparks jump through air, and moving electrons create magnetic fields.

The experiment demonstrates the same core idea from a few angles: whenever charge moves, it changes the space around it. Current, coil turns, voltage, and geometry decide whether that shows up as magnetism, induction, plasma, or a visible electron beam.

The magnetic field inside a simple coil grows with turn density and current.
