How it works

What this project is testing.

An electromagnetic pulse is a very fast burst of changing magnetic field. If that field passes through nearby conductors, it can induce brief voltages and currents.

At a safe educational scale, the experiment demonstrates Faraday law: fast changes matter. A slow magnetic field may do almost nothing, while a sharp pulse can create a noticeable electrical kick.
